The Last Humans is a media project interviewing the final generation to reach adulthood before the internet became embedded into everyday life. Unlike every generation after them, they developed a sense of self before digital identities, algorithms, and online personas became inseparable from the human experience—fundamentally shaping how the brain develops and how identity is formed. They are the last humans to fully develop outside of digital influence. Before they are gone, we are documenting their account of what it means to be human… so we don’t forget.
