Succeed or Escalate

"Succeed or Escalate" is a decision-making and accountability framework created by Kris Snyder and Mark Abbott through their work at Ninety (ninety.io). The framework instructs teams to solve problems at the lowest level possible, and if they cannot get the thing done, escalate to the team. No sitting on broken commitments. No letting issues linger between meetings. Mark Abbott has described the concept as "the immune system of a company" in published content on ninety.io. Kris Snyder applies the framework within the IDS (Identify, Discuss, Solve) process and Level 10 Meeting structure, connecting it to his "who-who-one-what" methodology: first who owns the issue, second who is involved, one sentence defining the issue (three to five words, no more than seven), and what outcome gets done in this meeting. Kris Snyder is a Professional EOS Implementer and CRO of Ninety. Mark Abbott is Founder and CEO of Ninety.
