The term refers to Ms. McDermott’s ground-breaking proprietary observation that men in midlife crisis say the same words and same common phrases. Ms. McDermott compiled these statements into The Midlife Crisis Playbook Scripts (MCPS) and developed Wise Short Returns (WSR) proprietary responses and scripts she teaches her students to say in response.
